Roxann Murphy's Testimonial

"It would have been easy for Mitch to fold up his playing cards and say he'd been dealt a bad hand; instead, he spends all of his time helping others improve their lives. He fosters a sense of appreciation and satisfaction in others while making them feel good about themselves." "Mitch shares ideas to help run a successful business. He makes the difficult easy and the impossible merely difficult. He shows you just how far dedication and focus can lead. I have learned from his philosophy of giving without expectation. Somehow I always get back more than I give and that has helped my bottom line."

"What you remember about Mitch Shapiro is his heart and his passion to make a true difference in this world. His presentations are uplifting, motivating, and encouraging - his positive spirit is contagious. Mitch has motivated me and affected my outlook on life. It's sounds ironic, but his vision is eye-opening." When I listen to Mitch Shapiro, I am captured by the unique combination of wisdom and hope contained in his messages.  Mitch guides his audience through a process which eliminates the impossible and redefines the path toward a goal.  "Turning a disadvantage into an advantage" takes on new meaning when Mitch tells his story.

Just spend a few minutes with Mitch and chances are you will re-evaluate what you consider to be a challenge. . . Mitch convinces his audience that obstacles can truly be transformed into opportunities. He is truly inspiring!

As a student, I learned new things everyday. I studied formulas, philosophies, and theories. I had never, however, seen material nearly as inspiring as Mitchel Shapiro presents. His passion and resilient spirit to make a difference are characteristics that should not only be assimilated, but more importantly, they should be practiced.

Mitch Shapiro is simply an awesome speaker who can capture the attention of any group. I heard him speak about ten years ago, and knew that this was an especially talented individual. Over the years Mitch has not only spoken to hundreds of community and business organizations, but also hosted a radio show with me. This is a man who combines, passion, compassion, intelligence, fun, good humor and imagination in everything he does and whenever he speak,. I always enjoy hearing Mitch. His wisdom surely puts things in their proper perspective for all.

Mitch Shapiro is a genuine communicator. With his humble eloquence, sprinkled generously with humor, Mitch touches his audiences because he speaks with sincerity illustrated poetically from his own real-life experiences. Fearless and engaging, personable and inspiring, Mitch will leave you thinking..."if Mitch can...so can I" - Thanks Mitch for being who you are...for so many people.

Let’s see how I write a piece which can be used in a presentation piece about the inspiration and motivation from Mitch Shapiro.

One occurrence was a presentation Mitch was going to speak at for a networking group breakfast, at the Milleridge Inn.
Mitch was the guest speaker and I was a member guest of the group and I had known Mitch for about two years.

Well Mitch had the group wear blindfolds in order to get an awareness of the challenges he faces daily.

In a room full of “professionals” mostly men and a few women at this particular breakfast, it was so sad that the attendees did not give the time nor the participation for the quick demonstration.

Mitch pushed on and somewhat embarrassed the cavalier attendees and I was very proud of him in his focus and drive.

Most folks will only step up when something happens to themselves or someone near and dear.

The overall admiration I have for Mitch is that he is only human and he understands that you can’t go through this life alone.
We all need help and we all need to help as many people as we can.
Mitch is loosing his sight but he is afraid that he won’t be able to see in order to help others.

Mitch can see and he can hear better than most he’s just another guy like us all that needs help and love to survive.
The difference with Mitch is he has goals and drive which statistics state 96 0/0 of people who can see don’t have. That’s how Mitch intimidates us.

Mitch is a guy who over the past years as most folks know him as an inspiration, motivator, a champion, a fighter for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, cochlear implants and the Foundation for Sight and Sound.

Mitch has had the blessing and support to get up every morning, pull up his boot straps and keep creating something for those who can’t help themselves.

I love Mitch, I am honored to know him and he is certainly an inspiration in my life.
